Holderness yet again sat 16th Feb

Arrived at withernsea for 10am went straight into café for breakfast the tackle shop for bait & then on to the beach at holmpton we had to wait for it to lower a bit before we could cross the gully in front of us. We fished all the rest of the ebb off the bank then all the way back up & part way down again about an hour from top & the whiting came on with a vengeance big bad col & batey to my left pulling in whitings every chuck on both rods Andrew on my right both rods going barmy me not a bite again not one then about an hour into the ebb at long last a fish blank saved otherwise that would have been six blanks on the trot the lads gave me a few whiting though the whiting are a good stamp too quite a few just shy of 2lb heres a few pics for you

No two pounders there biggest is 1lb-12oz but there were loads caught 2 3 & 4 ounce shy theyre an excellent stamp of fish on the east coast this year
