Pensarn High 7/8/12

Fished Pensarn beach (2nd ramp from the top)
High water yesterday,couldnt get any lug only
able to get rag,the fishing was poor Brian had
a weaver i hadnt had a knock,cracked off/birdied
my mag elite through frustration and managed
to get the rig/tapered shocky(£7 for 5 them suckers!!!)
back when Brian snagged it-did the same thing again
last cast which summed the whole day up!!
Guy next to us had a small starry smoothy first
cast then nothing,gave us some lug which was
nice of him.
As the tide receded my other shocky appeared
complete with lead and wait for it.......
A nice little flounder buried in the mud
Nice to be out but cant wait for the bass to return,
should only be a couple more weeks fingers crossed!!!

not sure but i think the bass move away when the weavers move in bass on a feeding frenzy might grab a weaver by mistake?

Dont blame them-the fishing was awful.....
...only 3 of us on the beach tells you something

That was good of the Flounder to keep hold of your lost gear hope you gave him a reward lol

Dont know why but pensarn doesn't fish too well in august,llandulas has been producing.Down at the van saturday for 2 weeks ,first week for chillin,the second for fishing(good tides ),i think a trip down the Lleyn and Anglesey is on the cards plus a couple of sessions locally not been out much this year
