Arrived in Pensarn around half 2 after a detour to meet
Congerman for our bait-nice to meet you Clive,the
bait was spot on-thanks a lot mate!!!
Was a little bit deflated after looking at a calm
sea with the wind in the wrong direction,but
we were there now and decided to have a go
anyway!!!!
My mate Brian who was with me had a nice flounder on his
first cast (the pics on his phone)and i was wondering
if i was going to end up blanking and beaten by a novice
Until had a nice little bite which resulted in this fella
Just a bit undersize otherwise he would have been tea!!!
I had two more after this which were slightly smaller,the fight
these fish put up on light beach gear was amazing,they kicked off
good style as they got close in to the beach,and its always great to
put them back in and watch them dart off.
It wasnt a prolific days fishing but it was nice to be out and a few fish
when i expected a blank was a result too.
My mate Brian is slowly getting the hang of the fishing lark
now,tackling up,baiting up-only thing is his shoulders facked
so he cant cast......gonna try him with a longer rod (15 0r 16ft)
to see of that helps the situation
