Had a couple of sessions last weekend, the first on Anglesey last sunday in search of the elusive double
thorny, caught one small ray early on.
It looked promising with it caught within the first hour but that was it on the ray front, doggies,dabs,whiting
wrasse and a few sea creatures making up the catch for the rest of the session
Caught two of these and they gave a surprisingly good bite, a bleeding nightmare to unhook and
return though !!
These had a few of my hooks.
Nipped down the Dee for a couple of hours before work on tuesday for flatties, again caught a decent fish
early on then that was it for two hours except for a bite that came to nothing, had a chat to Holford (bring
on the bass)who was fishing further down with not much success either, we blamed the rain,big tide, northerlies,
etc etc
It was a good job my lad went on a school trip to a trout farm the same day and got us something for
tea, a small pinkie under a float apparently
Roll on the weekend !!
