a few fish

with the mrs and kids of out for the day i decided id nip out for a few hours to see if the plaice had arrived proper.
set of using 2 rods one light gear 1 hook and one a bit heavier using a 3 hook flapper again tiny hooks but this time the bait was fresh prawn tipped with crab and prawn on its own and crab on its own.
the tide was massive so i chose a spot out the run hoping the tide run would push the fish into a holding area.

and boy did it work.

twas a magical few hours session with most caught on the prawn crab baits. cracking venue and i might try again tomorrow. in total i had 12 plaice and 4 flounder biggest plaice just shy of 3lb.

some cracking fish there shows that knowledge on the venue pays off well done good report +pics
