The tides of March
and big tides too, the table and expectations were high.
A stroll down the Point over Saturday High, with the deck flooded Maestro and Al were on the prom wall and in Flounder
Out for just an hour over Saturday Low
Thought I had a first cast dab on but it turned out to be a razor snagged on the rig.
Razors were spooting up everywhere eager for a look at the sunset and double planet display.
A long way out on rarely trod banks and as the flood started I snagged on something, lost rig and leader
and with no time to set up again on that bank a cautious retreat was in order
With the itch not quite scratched after Supper I went back to the Point for midnight High.
Still nothing,
Sunday lunchtime High,
a fair few out, another flounder was being landed just as I set up,
The Life boat was revving up, making some funny noises and belching smoke,
Just a crab,
nothing else to report,
except for it being a real pleasure to meet Steve-O for the first time.
Guess good fortune wasn't in my star's this weekend
