Spent a few days under canvas with the lad at pwllheli, got a couple of sessions in but the fishing was slow to say the least, stayed at abererch sands just outside town, a decent family campsite.

Hotel gelert
Pwllheli 28710002

Fished the first session daylight into a couple of hours of darkness but
just had the one doggy

Had another session the next day, we managed a small spotty and a
silver eel.

Didn't see a single bream or maccy getting caught and talking to locals
the bream are few and far between, the only person to get any was a
yacker who found a reef about 400 yards out where he had a few.

Peed down on friday so no fishing, went for a look at the small air museum at dinas, not a big place but one of the few museum's that
let you climb on the aircraft

Pwllheli Hol004

for fellow anoraks, a classic !!

Had an enjoyable few days despite the lack of fish, will have another go soon when more fish start to show

Nice report and pics.

Hotel Gelert looks a fine place to dine!

Did you fish right by the campsite?
