Venue - Flint

Bait - Frozen Lug

After doing all my jobs i decided to pop down to Flint for a few hours.

Arrived at 11-15am, with High water at 1-30pm.

The good lady dropped me off then off she went shopping.

Frozen lug was order of the day.

Sadley the spacemans bell only had one jingle.

A Tidy knock just before high but nothing to show for it.

A nice few hours out tho.

I was joined by two of the regulars and as we were talking, about 150-200yds out there was one massive swirl on top of the water with something showing its back.

I visited Rhyl last week.

Arrived lunch time for abit of castwatch and a walk along the Sunnyrhyl Sea-front to the Blue Bridge.

Nobody about to be fair.

So we both walked upto the Blue Bridge, some nice boats about.

Looks like you had a good outing fishing will improve soon.
The vessel at Rhyl side is the" Alice "used as a Dredger the other one at the Kinmel sideis the "Ottowa"both are on google sites and well documented, the stories are interesting.
The odd thing is the amount of people who never notice them . cheers

Micks got the names the wrong way around, the alice is the one by the slipway, the ottawa is the one close to the sea wall, she was put there early 1900's to be broken up after being damaged, hope fully she will be removed from there very soon

Many thanks Tony for the info.

Steve.
