Decided with me back in work next week id have a couple of hour's out today. but this time just a bit further to flint behind hss.

Set up one rod three hook flapper and bait the same as yesterday frozen lug and squid strip's.

First cast resulted in a good missed bite. second cast the same. so down sized to size 4 hooks. 3 cast and a suprise a good knock and this feller a bit early i thought.

Bemused i baited the same again and next cast, a smaller one.

Then the water slackened over high for about an hour and not a nibble as it started to ebb. i had one more bite and another small eel. then sacked it an hour after high. happy again.

We had Eels in a junior match at Rhyl Foryd last April and i thought they were early.

Im stunned there are Eels around alredy especially after the weather weve had this winter. Shocked

Great report as usual.

You might do ok with worm as i doubt there are many crab peeling around here at the moment so the fish wont be exclusively feeding on crab.
