Bait - Fresh and Frozen Lug.
I had a call from a good friend in the week, he asked what i was doing weekend.
So i told him i was going to return to Flint to fish the Dee, having not fished himself he asked could he join me.
So we met up.
On arrival and my mistake we were greeted by low water, take a look.
I've never seen it that low before, Mark had a shock when he seen how deep the drop was, we must have been 25-30 foot above the water.
So after talking for a while the Tide turned, so i tackled up my new leeda Pirahna and Penn 8000.
The two hook flapper rig was set up with Frozen lug first, then cast in anticipation of many bites to follow.
Not long after casting in, this beauty came to see us.
After returning it all hell let loose, every cast resulted in Eels
A great day was had by both of us, i think Mark was impressed with the day, not only the fishing but the wildlife down there.
So we decided to head off home, and as i went to de-tackle the rod, another eel.
.
Thanks to Mark for his company and camera work.
Also the numerous people we spoke to down there.
Tight lines all.
