It's a tough life this sea fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bait: Fresh Lug, Frozen Squid

There is something quite magical about fishing Kinmel Bay over low during the Winter. With the holiday camps deserted and just the occasional dog walker patrolling the high water mark away in the distance, you are guaranteed peace and quiet.

I had 2 rods out today. 3 hook flappers were baited with week old Lug tipped with Squid.

Surprisingly, first cast on the Beachcaster resulted in a double header of 5 Bearded Rockling.

An hour later, a small Flounder was landed just as the tide was pushing me back up the beach.

It's a tough life this sea fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On my last retrieve, another Rockling kept the smile on my face.

No monsters today, but 4 fish was a result:)
