Not a fishing report.

I am on a cycling challenge month again. Just back from camping for a few nights here. Cheap site and in the location I needed to be. Noticed that Notbad has fished here years ago!

https://www.makinsfishery.co.uk/

I had a good few peaceful nights here (apart from the constant noise of the nearby motorway which I soon got used to). Those that were angling seemed to be enjoying themselves so might be worth a try for those that are interested.

Lots of waters to choose from.

Cycling is going very well. 7000 competitors in this month's round of the competition, collecting invisible points to win invisible prizes. lol!

I am currently at 2nd in the world. Can't catch 1st (someone in Sweden on an e-bike) but quite a way ahead of 3rd/4th. 14 days to go. Avoiding the heat now for a couple of days before heading out on another camping trip.

July I will get some fishing in.

An e-bike sounds like unfair competition! Sounds tough though!

Recently, I'm doing invisible fishing, catching invisible fish for invisible points and winning invisible matches! ( No change there then)

Yes, unfair, but the real gain for me is weight loss. 1 stone in a month.

If your weight is a problem MM,have alook at 'The Atkins diet'
I didn't strictly stick to it,just used my own judgement, but I lost weight quickly and easily.(it's the carbs that make you put on weight)
No pain, but plenty of gain,(or should I say loss) lol!

I've always dismissed that as an option because I am not a meat eater.

However, it has now been adapted for vegetarians. Neutral

Had a quick look at the veg diet, seeing as old doc Atkins is kicking daises up,
I don't think I would bother with it.
He has had nothing to do with the idea.
Happy cycling,and amperes. "V" lol!
