speed limits

I noticed the warning about the new speed limits,any idea what and where they are? (suburbs/A55?)
Are there cameras?
I can see the point on the A55,I stick to the speed limit,but people have passed me doing well over 100mph.

To hugely over simplify the change  if a speed limit is 30mph now in Wales it drops to 20mph on Sunday.

I'm conscious that I don't want to risk giving an inaccurate comment that could have consequences so would suggest that for the official position it's best to check the official sources, here is one, scroll down to the section on 20mph

What I will say though is that this news of the lower speed limit of 20mph is not known to all and will come as a surprise to some visitors to Wales from Sunday 17 September onwards.

It actually sounds like a safety first move,I doubt anyone will argue with that.
Let's hope its not a cashcow in disguise.

It won’t be a cash cow if drivers stick to the stated speed limit and I don’t see a problem I am on holiday at the moment in mid Wales and have come across lots of 20 mph limits it says so on a sign on the side of the road it’s as simple as that there is another sign that says 30pmh and that allow me to do 30 I can’t see what all the fuss is about it’s been all over the news. They had two old lady’s on last night saying they can’t understand it if that’s the case they shouldn’t be driving.
