Highly recommended and very professionally made series of videos about travelling around the West coast of Scotland in his inflatable boat the Grey Gurnard.

Donny Wilcox is a retired Scottish chap, his series of videos will have you believing you are helming the boat without leaving your armchair.

Some incidental lure trolling, well worth watching for the scenery! Donny has a very relaxing voice too.

The water in those lochs is near freezing point.
I swam in loch Morlich in the Cairngorms when I was younger,I had to get out sharpish,I was getting hypothermic.
My Broome speed boat spent most of it's life in the Lochs,I've changed the outboard from a 15hp to a 25hp.My last trip out was from Ronnies on the Straits.

I find his videos are ideal for relaxing to. In some ways he reminds me of the vintage Jack Hargreaves "Out of Town" series.

My own boat hasn't moved in a good while, time I moved it on to someone perhaps.

I'm getting too old to feel safe in my boat.I might sell it in the spring.
