Funny😂I'll give you that one!

Henceforth to be known as the splashy light mark. Might have to explain why to some.

I've actually seen fish in there myself.I wonder how they get seawater up there to fill it?

You could pay as small fee to test your boat and engine on there a few years ago.
Have we lost another attraction in Rhyl,or are they going to refill it?

Marine Lake is drained occasionally, there is a sluice in to the harbour near the wreck of "The City of Ottawa" it runs under the road.

I imagine that on a big tide the height of the sluice sluice is such that works in reverse to re-fill the lake - no need to pump water up if I'm right. This would fit with tide heights at the time.

"You could pay as small fee to test your boat and engine on there a few years ago." This is still the case I believe.

Might be wrong but I think a floodwater holding tank was installed beneath the lake, the building in the carpark being a pumphouse.

Wasn't there a small train track around the lake?
With moving the fairground attractions down near the caravan parks,it seems people will not know about the lake, and miss it.
Is the welsh sunday market still in operation near the camps?

The miniature railway is still there.

Not long before the coast gets busier with Easter visitors!
