I doubt that you will find a book on feeder fishing that is late enough.
Utube has loads of advice on it.Just type in feeder fishing.
I'm going to give the method feeder a try.
Its very simple, and easy to set up.It's an oval lead plate with an open pastic top. There's floppy plastic cup that you fill up with groundbait. You press the lead plate etc into the cup, then press the other side of the cup to release a nice neat dome of groundbait. The hooklength is only 3" to 4" long.
You put the baited hook in the cup first so that it is on top of the groundbait when the cup is removed.
I got a set of four for about £4.All you need to do is attach the hooklength to the tiny swivel at the end of the feeder.
Very easy setup compared to pva bags and cage feeders.
It also concentrates the groundbait exactly where the hook is.
I bought a pack of pre made hooklengths by drennan. They have the boilie stop already attached.
With my fat old fingers these days the setup is a dream.
