| Anybody fished off the wall over the boats recently? It's been a while since I tried it. Got a few Flounder last time, but on reflection I was using the wrong end tackle. One up one down didn't get very good results,I'll try a running ledger with coloured beads next time.(black lug and squid strips) |

| Feels like spring is in the air,got the itch. Last time I was blasting over to the far bank almost, but after looking up what goes up and down the estuary in fish species, maybe the middle will get results. Big tides are hard to hold bottom,so I'll have a look at the tides. It's dead handy for fishing at Connahs quay,I can sit in the car and watch the rods if it gets a bit inclement. |
