Myself and Tom decided on a session
The plan was
Popped into Pensarn Tackle Bait for some Rag another supplies
Herring up to high at HHBW HW 10.26am then
Fish the outside wall until about 1pm in search of a Pollack then
Move to Llanbadrig and fish either side of low hoping for a late Wrasse
Arrived at the first location 9:15am to the welcomed sight of James Davies-Cooke and co pulling Herring up the wall. Had a quick chat whilst setting up next to them. They were collecting bait before there Tope session
First cast and we were in
Then followed by a welcomed surprised sight gaining me some additional point on the Specimen Hunt
All 3oz of it!
The Sabiki used with sized 10 hooks
We ended the Herring session with about 16 each and Mackerel for me
Moved up the top of the wall to the outside in search of a Pollack resulting in 2 Whiting of around 33cm and 3 lost fish to snags

Finally got one of the target species for the day up the wall
Adding another couple of point to my specimen hunt tally. It was time to move to our next destination Llanbadrig and arrived a little later than planed
Tom stuck it out on the big baits in search of the Conger I alternated baits and distance with Rag and fresh Herring
Several more Whiting again for me, Pollack at 1lbs and several Pouting
As we got to the end of the session Tom finished off with 2 Dogfish
Tom caught his first Herring and we had a great day
Plus a free feed
Get out there and wet a line we have some great locations on our doorstep
