| It looks as though the coastal defence scheme planned for next year could close off our prom and beach for up to 3 years if you read the planning documents section on here. https://www.eastrhylcoast.co.uk/ |

| Not clear to me if it will be so easy to fish from there after the work either. More rock between path and sea? Not that I fish there often myself though.

| Could do with an artist's impression of the finished job. Maybe there is one in the pipeline from Balfour Beatty. They shored Llandulas up with rocks,it didn't take long if I remember right. But I think that was a council project. With a big contractor being involved it will probably have a concrete reinforced wall, which with a bit of luck it could be a platform to fish from. We need Paul to investigate I think(the iceman,Haha) |

| Shame, but I suppose it's better for those whose properties are on the flood plain. From Rhyl all the way down to Llandulas almost is on a floodplain from what I can see. |

| Could the design be influenced? A fishing access point or two ? |

I don`t think we`re part of their plans, I doubt they know we exist. |

That's what I was thinking,I suppose if you don't ask,you don't get. With half the country protesting about just about everything, why not join in. I've loved Rhyl since I was a kid,but it looks like the council are going all out to deter visitors. The A55 will probably be renamed as the Rhyl bypass. |

| They are giving you a means of asking about this, why not run a poll for how many will be afected, and either submit through the forum or individually. If you do not ask you cannot be a part of the process. |

Maybe a disabled fishing access point or two might be the smart, effective argument? Even if they know we exist I cant see it counting for much versus the flooding. What I do wonder, given how muchh the sand levels there vary anyway is what nature will do in response, maybe the unused slipway to the east will become the new splash point for example |
