No secret spot

Met up with dan this morning with mark and ben
for another Mersey sess at otterspool again.



We arrived at 7:30am at the Mersey road car park
but couldn't see dan who was at Jericho lane car park
(great start   ) so we walked up the prom to dan
thinking he knows a secret spot the others didn't because
we past loads of other fishermen and there was dan
standing there on his own.



It was freezing but after that long walk we soon warmed us up (cheers dan )
soon are lug/squid baited pulleys were cast in



The fishing was poor (dan's dodgy spot ) but dan
did catch something  the bottom



Ben did catch something living crabs



By now we knew their was NO secret spot
and at this point NO fish





Luckily ben did manage to catch 3 whiting
which saved me doing a fishless report







And dan caught some crabs



Despite the lack of fish and the long walk and no secret spot and freezing
we did have a good laugh cheers boys

If you look in the third photo, there is a brick building in the background. Its the pumping station for the shite pipe and you need to fish closer to it because its deeper that end and the fish like eating scouse cack

Well done Steve on a good report and a nice set of pictures. If you want all the secret places you will have to take Degs along with you he must know them all.

Was Dan snagged in the 4th pic

Can't believe Dan didn't catch especially the way he looks in the 6th picture
Looks like a real "Hooker" to me

Yeah he was snagged on the bottom

Good stuff again, I would have joined you if I had known as I was at Mariners. I fish about 100 metres to your right normally.
