where have all the tope gone

i was invited for a day Out with billy on his boat Tight Lines today, the idea was to try for tope on a mark billy was on last week. he had 8 tope off this mark so hopes were high. we stopped a few times on the way to try for some mackerel but blanked so set up with the frozen. it was a bit slow with only a ray each and a few whiting so off to another of billys marks. nothing on the big baits and only dabs on baited shrimp rigs. not one for giving up billy moved 6 times in all with much the same results doggies dabs and codling but no Tope and to top it all my phone went on the blink so just a few pics of the day



as always a great day out with a great skipper and plenty of banter
and a top up on the sun tan
