no tope but a great day out

went out again with billy  on his boat tight lines after tope. got to trevor around 9 am just after low water and set of to have a go for some mackerel. billy managed a herring but no mackerel so we set of to the first tope mark with only dogs coming in and a bull huss for billy. after dropping the anchor at the next mark we had 1 rod out for tope and 1 with worm baits for any thing else that was around. billy had a thorn back on his flaty rig with size 2 hook and i had a whiting and a huss on the same hook on my baited rig size 1/0. the whiting took the lug and the huss took the whiting. it turned out a busy trip with 2 rods each we had dabs dogs whiting herring rays huss and a spider crab each.
at the end of the day no tope but a great day out a few pics of the day
