| Interesting how these two are found in river estuaries. From many years ago- I had some friends tell me about catching plaice from a "hole" in the Conway river, would this have been where the marina is now? Do they catch any in the river now? I remember a report in Angling Times of someone catching a 40lb plus cod not far from Glasgow. he was using a home made jig made from the inside door handle from a taxi, this was 50 years ago. I would not have wanted to be a taxi owner after this report! |

| I've never caught a thing in that river yet apart from a palm sized Flounder years ago Catching a fish from there is now on my 2016 things to do list |

| Not quite up the river, but I caught a schoolie bass in the river at low tide by the road tunnels, strong outgoing current , quite shallow |
