Been waiting for this trip to come around since booking it in February as for the last 2 years my wrecking trips have been called off because of bad weather But it was well worth the wait also with me was mark (again )and whitey and kyle who was having their first wrecking trip
We set sail at 4:45am this morning onboard severan 2 with simon for a near 3hr ride out to a wreck near the isle of man 44 miles from sunnyrhyl and I was still dreaming of a porbeagle shark
Has the sun came up I decided to start chopping up aload of mackerel simon had caught to day before for my rubby dubby
From were we where fishing you could see the isle of man
It was fish from the off Pollock coming up from everywhere
Than I caught this ling which was my target species for the day so I was well happy with that then kyle and mark had a couple of nice huss
We were catching that many they sent the navy out to stop us from emptying the sea
Whitey again caught the biggist fish this Pollock weighting 7lb 2oz
Kyle was catching that many fish he had to have a lie down
I did put a shark rod out but it was short lived has it kept drifting across everyone's line so I put it away
Rather that another 3hr ride back in simon stopped off it another wreck on are way back in to break it up and it was well worth stopping we even past tony who was out wrecking aswell
No sooner that we were out it was time to go back in
Another fantastic trip and the sun was out all day Between the 8 of us we caught Pollock, ling, bullhuss, whiting cod, pouting, dogfish and mackerel HAPPY DAYS

We thought that but when your pulling fish up From 180ft 6 1/2 hours is more than enough Time my arms are killing me but like Simon Said I'm not used to catching a lot of fish The cheeky sod
