So it was the anniversary of the father in law passing so what better way to remember a fellow angler then to go fishing. On this occasion the Mrs came along and made us a little picnic.
The weather turned out very nice considering the mid week forecasts. We decided to go for a walk along the coast from Pensarn to the fun fair at Towyn as this was where the old man spent most of his time wetting a line.
I set up new rod and reel just down from the 1st rail bridge at Pensarn. My first bait was in the drink approx 6pm. No sign of rain but wind was up a bit. There were a couple of other fishers of men out along the beach.
A young lad came up to us chatting about fishing and how to start, which kept the mrs occupied while I fixed up another bait. What little knowledge I have was finally passed on and hopefully the enlightened young lad will not listen to a word I said and go and find a wise man for some real knowledge
All in all The Mrs enjoyed herself I missed 3 big hits and blanked but we had a nice day out.
