Monsieur Lee Hot Shot Bass

Had a great afternoon at Penmeanmawr today With Tim Steph and kids, Hot Shot Alan, Longranger, Andy Lee and my old mate Richard who has never fished from the shore before and only from the boat twice.

Should have been out on Simons boat with Stevo and Codcatcher but the wind put an end to that  

Bass was the target although you all know me well enough to know that i'm happy with anything  

The wind was very strong and we all laughed as we said what the hell are we doing trying to fish in this weather whilst watching Hot Shot getting blown along and trying to stand in one spot but failing to do so  

One thing the wind did do for us was to create a fantastic surf  





While taking shelter Andy thought he'd show us his smart new top and Alan enjoyed a tasty pie  



Andy Lee was first in with a nice little Bass  



He was quite worn out after the battle  



Then it was Alans turn (note the Tshirt   )



Then I had a small Doggie  



Jack was in with an eel    



Richard had a nice plump flounder, his first shore caught fish  



And in blankers corner....

It really was a top way to spend a Saturday afternoon even if my face is now on fire after the wind

Good to see you all lads ,not been a very good start of the year for me and billy . Them who know me know that bass is in my blood and if I could fish for One fish only , it would be bass every time !! . Good to meet both Andys for the first time

Nice to be out with a great bunch and meet new people for the first time,it's funny how even when the fishing isn't great you can still enjoy a day out with like minded people

I have been out of touch, wife hospitalized and not too good now home, so where and when is the July meet, might be able to make that one as not cast a line for last two months.
