Mostyn Today 12th.

Fished Mostyn from just before low, me, Fred (brissey) and his G/Son, we had dabs from the start, there were at least anoother 15 anglers there also, switched from flattie rig to pennel with good fresh lug but no takers of the cod variety, it was just dabs till we had to end due to rip of tide. Whilst there there was a guy in small boat with o/board, came from left, dock area, behind the yellow bouys and paying out a long net, he then put his boat at the far end and waited....then drew the net in, couldn't see if anything in the net. Anyone seen this before ?

Yes, it did have letters and numbers on it but too far away for me to see/record, is netting allowed in the channel of Mostyn ?

Well done on the dabs Phil unlucky on the cod mate,think there thinning out quite a bit now

You should have showed them your truncheon, that would scare them off

Unlucky on the cod but least ways you had a fish or two
