Shark fishing, Point of Ayre, Ellan Vannin

An interesting shore mark at the northern tip of the island. Strong tide run with a bit of a back eddy. We fished at slack water over high.

Bait was whole gibbin (sandeel).

Target species was gobbag rangagh (tope).

Unfortunately we just caught the plain old gobbag (dogfish) on this occasion.
