| Off to do a recce at Jerico Lane on the Mersey. Does anyone know the area or of the area and can offer a little guidance as to good fishing spots along this area , would be much appreciated. Bait and tackle shops would be a big help to if poss.

| Not really familiar with the Mersey but I know that people fish all along there and im told its best to fish it on a tide less than 27 foot else the current is to strong If anyone knows better (im sure they do) pls let us know I'd use big juicy lug baits with a bit of squid aswell to try and attract a cod |

| These tides will be too big for otters at the minute mate and for about a week or so-generally 8.5 metres for the liverpool side of the river and above that for the wirral,,,,,,,,however 10.2 metres this weekend is a no go |
