back to talacre with d & g

with bryn dg not having much luck fishing flint I got him to travel all the way from flint to talacre about 5 miles.
to have a go at the dabs. we met at the pub car park at 10-30am dave the joiner was already there so we made our way to the water 15 mins away bryn set up to my left

and dave to my right

I was first in with a dab

we decided to fish 2 down 2 up and it was none stop dabs and whiting until low water most of the dabs were takers but we only kept a few for bryns tea.

and we had some good sized whiting


we had a chat to the 2 lads next to bryn on the way back they had come from preston  and they had some good dabs and good sized whiting as well. they said the fishing up preston way was crap so made the trip to talacre
at the end of the day dave the joiner only had a few bite and no fish he must have been a bit to fare a long the beach bryn had some nice whiting but only 1 dab taker the rest went back I finished up with the biggest smile
with 14 dabs and 12 whiting and a good day all round talacre never fails to produce fish
