First silver this year 26/4/13

Booked Friday of work ,so straight from work thursday evening I headed straight to kinmel bay pump some blacks with the big spring tide it was very easy and in half an hour soon had plenty for a session ..

There was a nice surf running here but opted for dinas dinlle ..when I arrived there ,there where a few anglers fishing right in front of the car park and had takin a few schoolies so decided not to take the long walk to the gully by the post ,and went for the easy option .. Got kettle on .....

Soon had two rods set up on size 2.0 Pennel rigs

Nice sun set......

Fishing was quite then 1 hour before high I missed a good rattle then connected with my secound a schoolie about two pounds ,not in the best condition with a few ulcers and sore fins .. So put it back

Then I had a stonking pull down and my line fell slack to the pebbles missed it ... Not a single bite on the ebb tide witch is unusual for this venue .. Enjoyed myself and it stayed dry happy days till next time

hi tim the lad next to you was ken the fox he had 1 bass next to him was big h he ended up with 6 bass and next to him was me and a doggy saved my blank went back Friday night with big h and it was wild and we both blanked
