Sea King a Fish or Two!!

Bait: Fresh Lug

With week old Fresh Lug, I decided on Splash Point for a few hours at dusk.

The wind had swung round to a SW bearing. The surf was lively without troubling my 6oz gripper. There was no weed to spoil things.

There was a bit of excitement about 3 miles out to sea. An RAF Sea King was hovering low over the sea with some vessel beneath. This continued for half an hour with the Sea King holding station throughout.
Eventually, the Sea King made it's way inland and left the vessel to head inshore. It turned out to be the Rhyl Lifeboat which made it way onto shore for a speedy recovery.
Hopefully just a training exercise!

Castwatch officer, Headwyn stopped by on a routine patrol. With nothing to report on the fish front, he made a note and left me to take in another glorious Rhyl Sunset.

Another blank for me but, Who Cares!!!!!!!!
