Our club match here yesterday was greeted by a very rare phenomenon
A dry summer day!
20 members turned up and everyone weighed in.
The bag limit of 2 of each species meant that after the usual 2 dogs and 2 wrasse, the top places were decided by the bonus species of pollack and codling.
The winner had his 2 dogs and wrasse, plus a pollack and a codling of 4-10-12-lbs. for 4.70 kgs.
I managed 5th place with 2.93, just 10 grams ahead of Newbie Al, and our Tom took the junior prize, with a creditable 2.88 kgs. and 7th place overall.

Well done Terry and young Tom nice result.
I fished Penmeanmawr saturday evening with my lad Jack along with Pete and Joe from Jokers.... Not a sniff, nothing, except for Joe who had a bite then lost the fish on the retrieve !

By the time Joe tells that story it will be the record bass that he released
