Holy Island rover match on Sunday

Our club match turned up a variety of species, with a bag limit of 2 of each, it meant trying all sorts of tactics. I fished the same spot from which I won this one last year, and came 7th with just a ballan, a couple of dogs and a little goldsinney,

Newbie Al came along with me, and this wrasse was his best fish

( he just pipped me by finishing 6th)
Gary shared our ledge, and had six species, here`s one of his double headers, a nice male cuckoo and a little ballan.

I had a nicely marked ballan,

some brilliant colors there nice wrasse well done every one I enjoy reading the reports

It`s the island that Holyhead occupies, along with Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn, it would take a lifetime to fish every possible rock ledge around there, but I`d love to try

You should remember it Mike, it`s where you came for a session with Kev and me about 3 years ago.
