The last match of our summer league was fished over low water at Tan-lan, Old Colwyn last night, 18 anglers took part, with everyone weighing in. There were plenty of doggies caught and a lot of small whiting, on the first of the flood the size of the whiting improved, with a few in the mid thirties in centimetres.
Top bag was 13 dogs and a whiting from the far left of the match boundary, in front of the `hump`.
With the best 2 dogs weighed in and the rest released and counted as 1 kilo, this added up to 12.90 kgs.
The heaviest fish prize went to a dog of 1.31 kgs. ( 2-14-08 Lbs.)
As for myself, 5 dogs and 3 whiting for 5.11 kgs. gave me 4th place.
