The second match of our summer league was a Dee estuary rover last night ,with 22 anglers taking part. I headed off to the mark at Greenfield, where I won the corresponding match last year, however, the wheels came off my plans in a big way
I came 15th with just one in-size flounder.
The top bag in the match was just 4 flounders and 3 eels, a lot less than we expected for this time of the year. There were a couple of decent plaice weighed in,
one of 1-15-12 lbs. for Paul,
and this one of 2-10-04 lbs. for Adam, winning a tenner for the heaviest fish of the match.
!9 of the 22 weighed in, but there were a lot of little eels included in that.
