Joe and myself went to the island last night for a go at the rays, when we
got there two hours before low there was very little surf
but we were
there so we would give it a go anyway. didn't get a bite until sunset then
we started getting whiting and the odd dog, the only decent fish coming to
Joe, a nice little smalleye
After five hours fishing and not much else coming out and stomach's
rumbling went for a slop burger and stopped at Llandudno on the way
home for a few hours.
fished the rough ground and again had rats, dogs, with a few rockling,
sea scorpions, and a couple of small codling
First outing for the floaty, winters almost here !!!!.
