Bait - Sticky Lug, Frozen Lug
Date - 4th October 2010
Having heard that an eminent member of The Rhyl Specimen Club had been out fishing the previous night, I decided to give it a go.
If the experts are out, that'll do for me 
The Hydro was chosen because it had been kind to me last Winter. Very kind actually!
Having had some bumper sessions down there, I had high hopes.
First cast, a Jensen 1 up 1 down rig was loaded with small sections of week old Sticky lug.
The Red tip light was onboard for it's first outing this year!
Bites were instant!
Well, small twitches actually.
A pin Whiting got me off the mark.
Next cast and the same result. Loads of small knocks.
This time, 2 pin Whiting!
Next cast and a similar story. Another Whiting of no size at all.
But a fish is a fish and having spent many hours down here during the summer months without a sniff, I was a happy chappie!
Another double header followed and this time, an insize fish!
A great little session!
I thought it was a small tide, but my footsteps in the sand were covered as I was pushed back towards the wall.
I'd imagine that this venue will fish well over the next few days as the tides gather momentum.
Total fish for the night.....
