| Nice to hear someone is out and about Dyl.Great pics and report. I've never tried it but,There's a spot between the old Flint market and the straight bit of road before McDonalds (left turn over a bridge) where there is a deep gulley in the sandbanks (back of some industrial units) it's a bit of a trek, but a good spot for plaice.I've been down there in the car,but the trek to the water was too much for my old legs. I talked to an old Fisherman at Greenfield,he said you would be amazed at the number of species that go in an out of the estuary. Good luck and tight lines "V" |

| Cheers for the into V I’ll have a look next time I’m in Flint. Not sure how far down the Dee the Plaice travel. They certainly don’t get down to Dock Road |

Good luck and tight lines "V" I think I know where you mean, fished there several years ago ( pre-dates this forum) the bit I wasn't comfortable with was where it meant parking the car, caught some good sized whiting that day, it is amazing the species that go up and down the Dee and use it as a " nursery" area for which reason there is a demarcation line upstream of which commercial fishing is not allowed, ( haven't checked my facts out on that recently) . Putting "Flint" in the search brings up some locations along the Dee Estuary _________________ we call it fishing not catching!
