Back on the Water

With Susie back on the water we got out fishing, not too far just pass the green buoy off Rhos on Sea Harbour 2&1/2 hrs either side of high tide, nice and flat, sunny with shirts off topping up the sun tan. I got the first fish a small whiting followed by a small dab and then the dog fish just kept coming for the both of us along with some very small whitting, when the tide turned Paddy got the best catch of the day a thornback ray not one but 2 of them. We tried the feathers for the mackerel, none about close in to shore just yet last year we started catching them on the 17th May. Bait used was lug worm, squid and whole mackerel on the big hooks. It was great to get back out.

Not looking good weather wise until Saturday F4 to F7 all week, keeping our eye out as that could change.
