Conscious that I haven't crossed Rhyl's gulleys in a while I arrived puffing and panting at the "big low" water mark just before low tide tonight.
Bait was fresh lug from Geoff's and conditions looked good and bassy.

an hour in and dab number 2





90 minutes in the flood was picking up speed, I opened the reel arm retreated paying out line,
soon there was 250 yards of line out, winding in felt heavy but there was no fight, the gulls took an interest and could clearly see dab number 3 being towed in.



Time to leave, no bass but no blank.

Nice going Paul,That beach looks very inviting.
Maybe  sticking a dab on a 6-0 circle hook on a running ledger might get you a bass (or a Tope,)

Looks like you had a good dab-ble at some fishing there.

Well done Paul nice to see a report of some fish it seems a long time.

With a pack of bait left over from last night I went down to West Pensarn for a couple of hours up to 1pm High.

Several others out along the shore, didn't see anything landed, nothing to report.

Looked nice and calm, good to see the fish coming in.

Certainly looked a lovely evening to be wetting a line. Well done on the dabs, nice catch
