Low 9:40am GD 1.6m
Option 1 was to fish either side of high by the ship
Option 2 fish low up
Decided on option 2 hoping for a Cod
Done the long walk around the bay
And was set up just before low
I was set up by 9:30 with a variety of baits Fresh lug, Bluey, frozen crab and squid
An hour in and all was still quiet so half a Bluey on in search of a Conger
first cast and my first fish was missed. Quick rebate and cast back into the same spot and something else was giving it a nibble.
A fairly respectable 8lbs 4oz
And that was that not another bite all session.
Must have been 15-20 anglers fishing either side of high along the bay with several having caught Plaice
