Had a crackin night with dabs crawling up the rods...started 3 hours before low and put some freezer burnt lug out on a dropper rig to see if i could snare a dab while a lug n squid bait was blasted out on an up n over rig.The dropper rig was soon nodding and i was surprised to reel in a nice 2.5lb codling to get off to a flyer...

After that it was like fishing Talacre with loads of dabs,single and double shots coming in,along with a nice flounder for a change..

Packed up on low at 2am...did`nt reel in without a fish on the lug baits,happy days.
