Venue - Notbad Gully Tide - Low Time - Day Bait - Fresh Lug Date - 3rd October 2009
According to the weather forecast 30mph winds would be hitting the beach side on. If the weed showed up it could have been a non starter. Fortunately, it didn't!
6oz grippers were holding in the strong surf. Bait and rig courtesty of Wormy!
There was not a chance of seeing a subtle bite. Only a full on rod bend was going to make itself known above the wind and wave buffeted rod tip.
A respectable Flounder came in un-announced on my 3rd cast.
Dusk approached without any further action.
To feel the strong wind in my face made everything worthwhile. Happy Days!!!

Youre a lot braver than me going out in that Mike.
Nice Flounder and stunning photos again.

well done guys,
Maestro braved it Friday night for a silver; hoping to get out myself for the first time in a fortnight later, just a quick session but can't wait!
