Went over to Otterspool for high yesterday with Tommy Blue, and it was fish from the off. Tommy had his first Codling out before I'd even got set up, the delay being due to me having an altercation with two dog walkers, after one of their dogs peed over my box. The upshot being, that I was in the wrong and needed muzzling, don't know how that came about, haha. Back to the fishing, a steady stream of bites up until about half an hour before high resulting in two more Codling around the two pound mark, and at least three drop offs, one of which felt to be a lot better fish. That was it for the Codling, but the Whiting came on till about two hours after high water. All in all another good session on the Mersey, with three Codling to 2.5lbs, and into double figures of Whiting.
