PostSubject: Mersey   Tue Dec 13, 2016 8:50 pm

Had an invite off my mate last Thursday to fish the Mersey on his boat. Things didn't get off to the best of starts,we arrived at the slip to find a front puncture on his jeep, took the wheel off and then we couldn't figure out how to get the spare wheel off Shocked an hour later we finally work out there's a tiny hole beneath the boot that you have fit an assembled metal bar with a special tool to undo Razz By the time we got on the water it was slack tide so it was a little slow, we had a few whiting, dabs and a couple of cod then when the tide turned we moved up river and got into the cod, think we ended up with 9 cod, biggest was 7lb

Malcom had one about 3-4lb

And the rest were about 2-3lb.

Had a nice bucket of cod to take home
