had a couple of hours on the beach tonight went down for low water ,nice little surf rolling in but it was cold in the wind , bait was lug worm , had bites from the first cast but kept dropping them off in the surf , ended up with a coddling about 2n half pound and a baby conger about 4lb

Sounds like a nice few hours and two good results for you efforts.

would have been better if the others had stayed on in the surf i was guessing they was bass but after the coddling came in i changed my thinking
