Our original plan was to fish Mostyn but due to all the rain we change our minds and headed to Llandudno. Called in at Jokers for bait and picked up a Wychwood suit for kirky's dad from congerman.
We were set up on the North shore for 12ish. The sea was as rough as we'd seen it and there was a strong wind, tripods and rods getting blown over even with bags of pebbles weighing them down.
The fishing wasn't good with the rods getting a constent battering off the wind it was difficult to spot a bite. But we stuck it out till 6.30 then called it a day with me catching just the 1 flounder and kirk's dad blanking. Back again next weekend so I'm hoping the wind calms down a bit. Managed to get a few photo's.

I think i saw you there, between the paddling pool and little orme. Talked to someone the other side of the paddling pool and he also had the one flounder. A tad rough wasn't it.
Steve.

That was us. The forcast looked ok, don't remember seeing anything about wind. Only saw one other come down and put a tripod up, but 4/5 were chucking some feathers out. Isn't it a bit early for feathers ?

Hi Steve you should of come over and had a chat.
The wind was to much for me but having travelled 100 mile and bought some great bait we gave it our best try. Kirky is up your way again this weekend over the Bank Holiday and hoping for some better weather. I go to Cornwall for 14 days on the 19th of May and I am hoping for some good weather and some good fishing. Nice seeing you Congerman the Jacket and Trousers got some us on Saturday as warm as toast a good bit of kit.

To be honest i was going to come over to you but i only had thin clobber on and that wind was bloody freezing. Should have been there this Sat but my lad is moving house so another no go. Oh well things can only improve.
Regards Steve.
