A grim day at Fort Perch Rock

7 of us turned up for our match in the Mersey today, there was a nasty cross wind whistling along the beach, and the crabs had brought some mates with them, stripping hooks quicker than we could re-bait them. To cut a long story short the 7 of us shared 6 fish between us, but on the bright side I had 3 of them
although I only got 2nd as Keith on my right had a flounder that was 20 grams heavier than my plaice, dab and weever.
Here`s my new pet plaice, I shall call him Justin as he only scraped in at 27 cms.

Well done all, shame the crabs are so hungry it doesn't help when they get to the bait so fast. Like the pictures.
