PostSubject: A grim day at Fort Perch Rock   A grim day at Fort Perch Rock EmptySat Aug 13, 2016 10:37 pm

7 of us turned up for our match in the Mersey today, there was a nasty cross wind whistling along the beach, and the crabs had brought some mates with them, stripping hooks quicker than we could re-bait them. To cut a long story short the 7 of us shared 6 fish between us, but on the bright side I had 3 of them Very Happy
although I only got 2nd as Keith on my right had a flounder that was 20 grams heavier than my plaice, dab and weever.
Here`s my new pet plaice, I shall call him Justin as he only scraped in at 27 cms.

Quip of the year that, narrowly ahead of Logger's recent Puffin Island banter at Stevo's expense!
