Sick at missing a saturday launch.

From what I can make out this sat is a perfect day weather and tides.
I had a few bits and pieces to do on my boat,but I got a few things I had to sort out this week.
So it looks like the perfect day is going to pass me by.
My outboard doesn't have muffs,so I need to have it in a tank to start it.
I've got a 50 gal plastic water tank set up,and I need to put it at the back of the boat so I can start the outboard and fine tune the cables and control box I have fitted.The gear cable is fine,but the accelerator cable needs adjusting.
When I bought the boat,the cleats had been removed,so I've got 4 new cleats to fit.
They are all bits of jobs,but all of them need doing before I put the boat in the water.

Fret not it took me a year to get mine ready and there's always something you want to change or add.

My boat was all ready to go this morning for only the second time this year, unfortunately we weren't and settled for a fishless hour and a half over High at Splash looking at the fabulous conditions and wishing we'd got afloat

Nice report on fishing kinmel bay Logger,it helped in the fact that I had got my predictions right about the day.
When I have to travel 70+ miles with my boat a lot depends on getting it right.
I suppose saturday was an easy one to predict,but getting it right gives me a bit more confidence for the future.
